Pretty March day.

Claire now loves the outdoors....we can't keep her inside. The only problem is, she can't swing herself. I found her on the swing just sitting there waiting for someone to come and push her. She kept saying "higher" and no one was there.

She loves to wear daddy's hats....she seems to get a different attitude when she has them on. If I adjust it to really fit her head, she really loves it, it stays out of her eyes.

We sent in our application for Tawian adoption. Wish us luck. The wait is somewhat compared to China, so we have a LONG way to go. We will be taking a trip to Pikes Peak this summer, we have been there once before and loved it. I would like to live in Colorado, but my husband can't quite share that desire yet.

Happy Spring

I am so happy to hear about your Taiwan application! Please share more--what agency, boy vs. girl, etc. (We nosey people want all the dirt!)

Your story about Claire on the swing is ADORABLE!

If your trip to Colorado brings you by Western Kansas on I-70, please look us up--we would love to see you again!

Just wanted to let you know I'm stilling keeping up with your family. How exciting about Taiwan! Good luck with that and keep us all updated.

Every call has a beginning. A quiet moment when God whispers a promise to a mother’s heart . A holy place where a father bows and faithfully accepts the journey set before him. A miraculous morning that unexpectedly dawns… Casting its first light on a chosen threshold. A gentle knock..a closed door opens, a sacred invitation sent by the Father.. leads to the other side of the world. Where lonely hearts stare out orphanage windows praying for someone to care.. and then one morning, on an ordinary day an orphan’s life changes... God sends them a second chance...Through you..

We are a family now, a whole,of which you are a part, and you are just as much our child as any in our heart. We do not love you differently, nor would we give up less of all that life has given us to bring you happiness. There is no limit to our love,no boundary you might cross,no price you may be asked to pay,no need to fear its loss. We are now one, the five of us,windows of one home. As long as we have life and breath,You’ll never be alone.~Nicholas Gordon
