It's coming I promise! I know how hard it is! Praying these LOA's speed up! The Island and everything around is empty - many store keeps are going out of business. That is sad to see too.
Can't wait to here your good news soon!
Do you have your Visa's? Long story on our part - but we weren't the only ones! :)
Love ya and am praying for y'all!

Its going to be sooner than later. I'll just be glad when we have our kiddos and this waiting is in the rear view mirror.

I just found your blog from Jodi's, and I'm so glad I did. Our family will pray your LOA arrives this week! I'm so sorry it's taken so long. It shouldn't be this long for our precious waiting children. They so need to be home! Keep the faith ~ we know God's timing is perfect, and He is good, all the time!
Blessings from OK

The wait is so hard! Thank you for your sweet comment on our blog. I pray that CCAA speeds things up and gets those LOA's out as quickly as possible!!!

Godspeed to your little one!!!

Hugs from St. Louis,
Robin

Ugh! I am so sorry it is taking so long! There was a bit of a condescending remark on the group this morning. I'm sure you know the one. I started to reply but decided I should keep my mouth shut. :-) You have a right to wonder if everything is OK given the wait you have experienced. There is nothing wrong with asking questions. It was stated that "you are waiting for a guaranteed happy outcome" but we all know that is not the case. There is nothing "guaranteed" in IA until that plane lands in the US. Both directors have reminded me of that several times. I just want you to know that MOST of us (myself included) are here to support our adoption friends (as opposed to being UN-supportive). I'll continue to pray that your golden ticket arrives very very VERY soon.

Many blessings,
M

I just checked in today to see what was up with Kevin....only to find you STILL waiting for LOA. I am so sorry! Hang in there friend...and let me know if you need to meet and cry into a noodle bowl.

Big hugs.

Hey Shelley,
I was checking in on you and I feel your pain as if it were my own. I remember how horrible the wait was...I am so sorry.
My only advice is to cry in the car on the way to work. That's what I did. That way Adyson didn't see me, and I could get it out of my system before starting my work day. I know it sounds crazy, but I cried every morning that way for about four months.
There is a bright, sunny, smiling light at the end of this tunnel.
Love and Hugs.
Stacy

Every call has a beginning. A quiet moment when God whispers a promise to a mother’s heart . A holy place where a father bows and faithfully accepts the journey set before him. A miraculous morning that unexpectedly dawns… Casting its first light on a chosen threshold. A gentle knock..a closed door opens, a sacred invitation sent by the Father.. leads to the other side of the world. Where lonely hearts stare out orphanage windows praying for someone to care.. and then one morning, on an ordinary day an orphan’s life changes... God sends them a second chance...Through you..

We are a family now, a whole,of which you are a part, and you are just as much our child as any in our heart. We do not love you differently, nor would we give up less of all that life has given us to bring you happiness. There is no limit to our love,no boundary you might cross,no price you may be asked to pay,no need to fear its loss. We are now one, the five of us,windows of one home. As long as we have life and breath,You’ll never be alone.~Nicholas Gordon
