On Sunday (3/18) it will really be 6...

Yes, another post about how unreal it seems that she has been in my "arms" for 6 months. She has really become a 2 yr old in the last couple of weeks. She loves to play in the water for the dogs. It still is so chilly in the mornings, I would prefer that she not. I scolded her yesterday and said "don't get wet with water for the dogs..." she looked right at me and stuck BOTH feet in the water. I have to really bite my tongue and not laugh at things like that. The second she sees that I am unhappy with her actions she begins to laugh and run toward me. Must be a kid defense mechanism...."I am so cute, you can't be mad at me". Works in this house...

Hannah got accepted to the middle school we applied for. She now really feels like a pre-teen. So many of her friends will be going to this school...I hope it proves to be a good idea. She has been reading Anne of Green Gables so she now is trying to be like Anne Shirley. If you haven 't read the books or seen the movie, I highly recommend it. Such a sweet and warm story about adoption.

Enjoy the pics

I love Anne of Green Gables. The movies are wonderful too.
You have a beautiful family.

Darling pictures......

Every call has a beginning. A quiet moment when God whispers a promise to a mother’s heart . A holy place where a father bows and faithfully accepts the journey set before him. A miraculous morning that unexpectedly dawns… Casting its first light on a chosen threshold. A gentle knock..a closed door opens, a sacred invitation sent by the Father.. leads to the other side of the world. Where lonely hearts stare out orphanage windows praying for someone to care.. and then one morning, on an ordinary day an orphan’s life changes... God sends them a second chance...Through you..

We are a family now, a whole,of which you are a part, and you are just as much our child as any in our heart. We do not love you differently, nor would we give up less of all that life has given us to bring you happiness. There is no limit to our love,no boundary you might cross,no price you may be asked to pay,no need to fear its loss. We are now one, the five of us,windows of one home. As long as we have life and breath,You’ll never be alone.~Nicholas Gordon
